BRIGHT PIED-A-TERRE

The lure of the Lérins Islands in the French Riviera led our clients to buying two penthouses opposite the islands and near the marina where they kept their boat. We proposed that by joining both apartments together, the living space would double and allow much needed light to flood in. Staying on brief, the design focus needed to be simple and natural. Tones of white, naturals, and turquoise within the scheme helped bring the outside in. This continued in our choice of soft furnishings by using linen textures, natural stones and washed out techniques.

Sanded woods were left in their natural form and brushed finished stone floors were laid under vintage rugs. Elegant lighting and carefully chosen paintings provided the finishing touches. Much to the delight of our clients – the penthouse almost ‘invites in’ its natural surroundings and is much loved by all their family who stay there.
