D&K Interiors – Interior Designers Mougins

D&K’s original brief was to decorate a villa set in the hills of Cannes, over-looking the bay. After consideration of our design proposal, the owners decided to expand the work throughout the entire villa and gardens. In addition to this, they also wanted to extend out from the existing building – enabling them to host both family and friends at the same time. The design concept needed to modernise but also maintain the villas character. For the decoration, a clear balance of the clients’ objectives was considered. They wanted a sense of luxury and rural elegance.

But at the same time, comfort and ease – reaching across different family generations. The main living space was re-configured and the instalment of floor to ceiling, glass panelled dividers gave rooms a sense of light, space and purpose. Locally sourced natural materials were chosen for their quality and authenticity. And a limestone coat finish to the interior walls was chosen to compliment the existing dry stonewalls.
